BALTIMORE: AN INTRODUCTION

Baltimore is located along the Chesapeake Bays north shore, and therefore the most desired food throughout Baltimore is the delicious crustacean. Fells Point was once the main Colonial Shipping centre, and the frigates that were called Baltimore Clippers were launched here. The Earth Treks Climbing centre in Columbia, which is in Howard County, is the largest climbing centre on the East Coast and it has a climbing surface that resembles a South Western canyon with 45foot high cliffs.
The kids will love Charm City, which is an entertaining place for the children. The Port Discovery has a great tree house that will keep the kids playing for hours.
The National Aquarium in Baltimore is brilliant and they now have a simulated rainforest, as well as a great dolphin show.
Maybe a baseball game is what you want to watch and see the Baltimore Orioles in action. One can also go to see the Baltimore Ravens play their American Football.
There are several ethnic festivals taking place throughout the year. Baltimore attracted nearly as much immigrants to its city as New York
Washington D.C. is only about 40 miles away and is worth a day trip. Also close bye is Annapolis that attracts lots of tourists. Philadelphia is about 90 miles north of Baltimore and is another colonial city that has lots of art, sports and fine food to keep all its tourists happy.
