RESTAURANTS IN BALTIMORE


On North Charles Street you can take a stroll until you arrive at the quaint neighbourhood of Mount Vernon. There is a massive 179foot monument of George Washington here. There are some great restaurants located around here. The Brass Elephant and the Tio Pepe Restaurant are very popular with the locals. The Purple Orchid Restaurant has also become very popular and serves up some fine Vietnamese and French cuisine.


South of the Inner Harbour is where Federal Hill is located. This place is more trendy and cool and offers a wide range of places to dine and drink. Ten Oh Six Restaurant has some nice and spicy Thai food, while the Matsuri restaurant will fry you up some really tasty Japanese cuisine. Near the bay side of the neighbourhood is the Joy America Cafe that is located above the American Visionary Art Museum.



Berthas Restaurant is famous for its seafood, while the Black Olive and the Kalis Court Restaurants are considered to be of the finest standard.

Greek Town is just on the East part of Baltimore and has some fine Greek Restaurants like Ikaros Restaurant that is a local favourite. Around the Midtown area of Charles Village, Niwana Restaurant has really tasty Korean food on offer. North of the city is the Govans community, which has the lovely Cafe Zen in its neighbourhood. Hampden in the West of Baltimore has cafes like Mamies Cafe and Cafe Hon that are worth a visit. And further west is Pikesville, where the popular Olive and Sesame Restaurant is situated. Northwest of Baltimore is the small neighbourhood of Mount Washington, where you can find the Desert Cafe and Ethel and Ramones Restaurant.
On the east side of the Inner Harbour is where the famous Little Italy neighbourhood lies. The area has lots of Italian restaurants with real class and restaurants like Aldos, Sabatinos and Della Notte will serve you up some real style Italian fare.
